Premature Ejaculation - Too Little Too Soon
Premature ejaculation or PE can be said to be one very common sexual dysfunction in men who are less than 40 years of age. This condition as defined by many professionals, who treat premature ejaculation, as having ejaculation prior to the wishes of both sexual partners involved. This broad description does not indicate any accurate period for sexual relation and also reaching the climax. That also depends on the factors which are particular to people involved in the intimate relationship. Premature ejaculation may be a reason for great concern for you and if the problem is there for more than 50 percent of the time when trying the sexual activity it is good to try a suitable treatment.
To put it in simple words most of the male reach climax after around eight minutes of sexual intercourse, and it cannot be termed as premature ejaculation if his partner reaches climax in just 5 minutes and also the fact that both of them feel content. There may be some men who will be able to hold back the ejaculation for around 20 minutes, but will think it as premature if his partner needs 30 minutes of stimulation for reaching climax.
There are times when many women are not able to reach climax at all, no matter how long, with vaginal intercourse then it is like delayed orgasm for the female partner and not a premature ejaculation for the man. It is possible that both have some problem and depends on what view is taken. The doctor will be able to understand it better after going through the sexual history of maybe both the partners and not just the patient.
Premature ejaculation can be primary all well as secondary in nature. The first one is when the person has been suffering from this problem from the time he reached puberty and the secondary condition is when a male starts having a problem after he has been performing all right. He may not be able to pinpoint the reason for experiencing premature ejaculation in the later part of life.
It is very difficult to categorize premature ejaculation as it cannot be said to be a medical problem and also people are not very sure what are the reasons for it, some feel that psychological condition of the male may be responsible to a great extend.
To put it in a different way the human sexual reaction is possible to be divided into three sections phases: desire, excitement and orgasm. The sexual disorders can be divided into four according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, they are primary, general related to medical condition, induced by taking substance and no know reason.
