3 Newborn Costumes For Halloween
Are you searching for newborn costumes for your adorable baby? When babies are small -- and therefore not choosy -- you are able to pick the costume you like best. Enjoy this time. When they are toddlers, they'll have more opinions about what they want to be for Halloween!
1. Pea Pod: A baby dressed as a pea is adorable. If you wish, you can make this yourself with a green bunting, green hat and felt. Cut three circles out of the felt -- these will be the peas -- and attach one to the bunting near the neck, one between the chest and stomach and one at the stomach. Attach a stem made from felt to the green cap, and you've got the costume completed.
2. Baby Bunny Costume: Dress your precious baby in a white bunting -- one with sleeves is a good idea for those cold Octobers -- and get a white hat and pink felt. You can cut oval-shaped ears from the felt and attach them to the hat. Be sure to make them small if you don't want them to flop over. If you want, you can also get white felt and glue the pink to the white felt to make the pink inside of the ear.
3. Newborn Kitty Costume: This is such an easy costume to make! Use a black bunting -- or make a big pocket out of cloth and add holes for the arms. Attach ears you make from felt to a little hat. As with the bunny costume, be sure to keep the ears small if you don't want them to be floppy. Make a tale from some extra felt or from some black -- or any color -- yarn. If you want to get really creative and offbeat, you could make the cat pink or red. It's up to your imagination.
Have a great time with your little one this Halloween. Your baby should be the hit of the party with any of the above newborn costumes.
