The HOM brand was established in Marseille, France by Charles Belpaume & Gilbert Anselme in 1968.

This continued as an independent range until 1986 when the top lingerie firm Triumph bought it up and expanded the brand worldwide.

This however has done nothing to stop the continual innovation of design and technology seen in 1997 by the invention of the H01. This feature saw a difference from the normal side opening to a horizontal opening and has been hugely popular.

This is however only one feature in a huge range which contains a large selection of
styles.

Whilst this is great for choice the diversity of styles can quickly become confusing. To try and stop this confusion ever arising for you here is a guide to some of the most popular HOM styles.

Hipsters:

The HOM hipster will sit low on the hips and sits across the top of the legs. This forms a sleek, boxy shape that has quickly become very popular.

The fit is snug and with a narrow waistband it is perfect for wearing under low slung jeans or trousers.

Maxi:

The HOM Maxi style are close fitting shorts that are longer in length in the leg. The waistband is also much deeper and there is front seaming which allows for a great shape, support and comfort.

Tanga:

The HOM Tanga is one of the most risky of HOM styles. The Tanga is completely cut away at the sides with a continuous waistband. The front section is also minimal and and there is a high cut style to the back.

String:

The HOM string is also referred as a thong. This style has a high cut leg with narrow sides. The sides continue round and then down the string at the back. There is minimal styling to this style which makes it perfect for under light or close fitting clothes.

Micro:

The HOM Micro style has a high cut length with narrow sides and is the most minimal odf all of the HOM briefs.

Mini:

The HOM Mini is one of the most classic of styles. The HOM mini brief has deep sides of around usually 5-7cm and has cut away legs.
